This activity is designed to help your team reflect, share, collaborate, and explore. This Wiki serves as your team's workspace where you will compile resources that facilitate the student use of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and 21st Century Skills. You will reflect on the resources and activities that you already know work and share those resources with other TRC participants through this wiki. Then, you will collaborate with other TRC participants and explore additional resources which you will bring back to your team's wiki. The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS*S) will serve as our framework as TRC teams try to collaboratively "Fill Your NETS".
Filling Your NETS*S
Cast#1
With your grant team, take 30 minutes to reflect on your TRC experience so far and brainstorm successful HOTS activities, lesson plans and resources that you have used. Determine which of the NETS*S you were addressing through the use of those resources and/or activities (see left-hand navigation bar). Under the proper NETS*S objective, list the following for each item:
give the resource a title,
copy/paste the resource URL
offer at least one sentence justification or rationale for using this resource to serve the purposes of facilitating the student use of HOTS AND how it addresses the NETS*S objective that you selected

When signaled, break out into groups with the other TRC participants in the room who are researching your section of the NETS*S
Spend 30 minutes collaborating with these group members and try to locate additional resources for your NETS*S section. Again, be sure to give the resource a title, copy/paste the URL, and offer a one sentence justification/rationale for it's use in the classroom.
